Simon worked in television for many years, principally with the BBC in London and Bristol. He specialised in special make-up effects, sculpting many original effects for ‘Casualty’ – which was a ground-breaking show at the time. The show won the BAFTA award for best make-up in 1992, and Best Design Team award from the Royal Television Society in 1993.
